I had to give my white jeans a last hoorah over Labor Day Weekend:) 

We got a blast of cooler weather with the rain, and I loved being able to open up the house. Are fall scented candles have been running all day long for the past few days! My husband likes to claim we are getting close to Christmas.......yeah he is quite the Christmas fanatic. I kindly brought him back down to earth and reminded him we have all of Fall to enjoy first;) 

P.S. My accessories (which I am crazy about!) were made by my friend Brianne. She has some pretty awesome accessories you can check out through her fan page. She just started to do this business full time, so go show her some love! Her prices are ridiculously great too!

I really cherish Sundays with my little family. After church we hit up a new gourmet donut shop we discovered. Let me tell ya - these mouth watering donuts were the size of my face!... and tasted a little like heaven:) Little Gabriel was a sticky mess afterwards but I enjoyed watching his sweet little cheeks and hands as he savored every bite. Little miss Veronica snoozed her way through our hang out time. My husband took most of these photos..... such a good sport he is. I kind of love him a lot:) He jokes about making an appearance on my blog, so I snuck one of him in:) he he...

As you can tell, I am enjoying some new thrift finds. And this lace skirt will be making a recurring appearance. So versatile. Have you dared your local thrift store yet?

Style Files: Friendship Bracelets

When I was a girl, we used to make friendship bracelets....it was serious. Requesting colors and styles, and trying new designs. This was part of our endless days of summer and I can still remember how to make them. So seeing this bracelet trend sweep the blogosphere, is quite fun to me. Makes me want to go out and buy a bunch of bright colored string. But being realistic, I don't have time to make these anymore, so for now, I will admire them in photos:)

I love that Bee wears whatever she feels like, and makes it look good! Adding bold color in either clothing or accessories is crucial to me in an outfit:)

If you follow me on twitter, you may have seen that I am looking for 5 more hours in a day. Anyone know where to find these?? Life just got a little crazy for me in the last few weeks! A good kind of crazy though:) Good thing I have two yummy kiddos that make my days full of adventure.

Celebration of Life Week: Color Weardrobe with guest Meet Virginia!

I recently came across Morgan's blog, MEET VIRGINIA and was an instant fan. After reading Rainbow Bright was her style icon, I knew we would be good friends:) You all know how I love color so I was excited Morgan agreed to help me celebrate life this week with one of her super fabulous color wardrobe posts! See it really isn't that hard....Right? Ok maybe it is slightly difficult to break the basic instinct of having to match everything, just try and make baby steps for instance don't match you belt and your shoes. Live a little on the wild colorful side! It really can be super fun, and will bring a smile to your face and those around you!

If you haven't noticed yet, I kind of love bright and bold colors:D So, the color blocking trend is right up my alley;) These were a few favorite dresses I came across this week that kind of remind me of bubblicious gum. You just want to chew on it...hmmm. Hope you enjoy!

I made it through a week of long anxious nights! My due date is Monday so we shall see what happens over the weekend:) You all are so sweet for checking in on me. I look forward to being able to share the news! Until then, I am going to be catching up on sleep and rest (since that will be hard to come by once the baby gets here) and enjoying my family. I actually don't think most of you will need an introduction to Sydney:) She is the super funny and fabulous girl behind The Daybook Blog. Its an interesting weekend ahead for me....husband might be leaving town for the weekend for a retreat (like the one I went on) so I need baby to stay put till at least Sunday! ....I am thinking Monday would be a great day though for the baby to make a grand entrance, since that is the day I am dreaming of the UK Wildcats winning the NCAA Championship :D Hey, why not?! I am having all sorts of sporadic contractions...but that could last another week so we will see! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Your favorite crayon in grade school was a neon color!....Yep, that would be me. To be perfectly correct, "Shocking Pink" was my favorite crayon in first grade. Thus, I am happy to see the neons hit the mainstream lately. Its fun! I love it even more paired with neutrals and corals:)

We finished up the Spring Issue of Radiant Magazine which launched online this week!  I enjoy designing every issue because it is loaded with incredible content and inspirational contributors...I am always learning something new. There is quite enough For instance, this issue features Bethany Hamilton (the movie Soul Surfer is based off of), Jennifer Miller on bioethics, Reality check on Happily Ever After, etc. etc.  I feel blessed that part of my job is being able to do something positive for young women today. There is enough negative and depressing media out there to go around!

I focused the Style Watch spread this issue on Wedding Wear since wedding season has begun!

Meet Jenny May: IHOD Modelista

Meet Jenny May. She is a California girl, who married her Swedish sweetheart. She writes screenplays, has an incredible voice, and oh yeah.... she is my good friend from Freshmen Year in college:) We used to drag ourselves to 8am Political Science class with Dr. Krason. I don't know how we made it out with passing grades to be honest! Love this girl!... and so happy she agreed to model some IHOD accessories for me. A little more about Jenny....

I am heading out today to a 3 day spiritual retreat, where I get to do nothing but focus on prayer and peace. 30 women are gathering for inspirational talks, time to write and reflect, time for prayer, (and of course eating;) etc.....and ALL in complete silence! The last time I did one of these, it was life changing. How can it not be?! Silence is where God speaks. My hunk of a husband is going to hold down the fort and watch little G for me. I am looking forward to UNPLUGGING from the world and using the time to re-focus.

Style Watch: The 70's are back in Bluebell Denim

That's right friends, the 70's are back in full swing;) High rise bell denim is quite the hot trend right now, and to be honest, I'm LOVING it. Of course, I can't imagine myself squeezing into a pair of these this summer after having a baby. Lets call that a goal:D

I go in phases between gold and silver. Right now, this shade of Silver Grey is all I wear and shop:) The best thing about this color? It goes with everything!
