Hello IHOD readers! This is Kara Eschbach, Editor in Chief of the newly launched Verily Magazine, a fashion & lifestyle magazine focused on starting fresh conversations on authentic womanhood. Anna was kind enough to let us take over IHOD for the day to introduce ourselves, so here are a few things we think you should know about us!

Thanksgiving Table setting ideas, recipes, Fall must haves, gift guides, and my favorite, a sit down with Kate and Andy Spade. (The married dynamic duo that founded my favorite line of hand bags;))

And I am still pinching myself that in the same issue as Kate Spade, I got to be a part of "Matchbook Investigates", where they ask 6 bloggers a different question each issue. Color Block Party - Rue Blog

 So did you know that Rue Mag now has a blog? So in case, like me, you can't get enough of their creative genius, you can get your daily fix here.  I am also loving this post by Mackenzie of Design Darling. Obviously, I am a color addict.

When this posts I will be flying west to CA. I felt these runway shots were appropriate and the colors would brighten your day:D

Holiday Packaging - Sweet Paul Magazine

After eating up every page of the current issue of Sweet Paul Mag, I was motivated to make every gift I give more personal this year-whether it be handmade wrapping paper, handmade card, etc.

These were a few of my favorite examples of the perfect Christmas packaging. I think everything is better with kraft paper:) If you have ordered from my shop, you probably noticed how your item came in kraft tissue and kraft bag:) Hope these examples inspire you to avoid the standard gift bag this year!

Also, lots of great things going on here on IHOD right now so here is the round up!:

The launch of RUE Magazine

I finally got the chance to dive and soak up the genius content of RUE magazine :) This brand new online mag is loaded with all of my favorite topics... design, decor, fashion, recipes, etc. etc. etc.

In its first issue, the much hyped RUE did not fail to disappoint. ...

Remember the Meet the Blogger interview with Crystal of Plush Palate? She is the fabulous editor in chief and stands beside a great crew in the development of  Rue mag:) These are just a few of the fabulous spreads. You will have to see the rest yourself!
