My baby girl is well on her way to her 1 yr. birthday. It has completely blindsided me!

Definately the fastest year of my life to date...

Gabe and I love watching her personality unfold. We call her a silent ninja...always climbing and crawling and attempting daring things without a peep escaping from her. Quite funny.

She loves to chase after Gabriel and get into whatever he is playing. Luckily he has lots of patience for her. She is standing on her own but in no rush to walk. She is a speedster on the floor so she feels confident that it will be her means of transportation for a while....as well as mama's arms;) One of our favorite things is to watch Gabriel try to make her laugh. He loves being an entertainer, and she loves to be entertained, so its a great match. She laughs at him constantly.

I can't seem to stop buying her little shoes (as you may have noticed on instagram). Also adding one too many bathing suits to her closet. Having a girl to dress up is way too much fun:) I hope and pray I can remember these sweet moments forever so I can tell her about them one day, and remind her how much joy she brings to our lives.

I guess its time to plan a first birthday party!

Veronica Rose: 8 & 9 month photos

Snap. And just like that she is a 9 month old, with her first tooth coming through, the biggest and sweetest grin that she reveals by the minute, and a wide sense of curiosity and exploration around the first floor of our home. Little Veronica also discovered the joy of cheerios, climbing up and standing next to her brother, and playing peek-a-boo. She continues to make daddy melt with the simple wave of her sweet chubby hand. 

These two are still crazy about each other (with the occasional over squeeze and zealous head pat on Gabriel's part;)), and always want to be where the other is. Watching them interact makes Gabe and I look forward to their lives together.

Veronica Rose: 7 months.

Veronica Rose - 7 months

This month she started army crawling. I know have a scrumptious big eyed belle at my feet wherever I go. She loves to rock on all fours, play peek-a-boo, and chew on mommy's necklaces. 

There is nothing sweeter than the first few minutes she wakes up and is all smiles.

Trying to cherish these moments and write down my favorite memories.

Little Gabriel wants to take "pookie" everywhere with him, and she is the first person he asks or when he wakes up. Which is followed by lots of smothering hugs and kisses. It makes up for his mischevious moments throughout the day;) 

We are in Milwaukee enjoying my husband's family all week long! We drove all the way here from the ATL. Do you have any travel plans? Will you drive or brave the airports??? 

Veronica Rose: 6 months

She is proud of her age I guess;)

Veronica found her feet this month and loves to roll around while holding both! 

She also discovered the art of bubble blowing. Lately, she had her eyes on daddy, and if she looks at him a certain way, she knows he will come pick her up and hold her. Trouble. Gabe and I wish she would stay this sweet forever...

Veronica Rose: 5 months.

This is Veronica Rose at 5 months old! She found her thumb in the first photo:)

She is miss roly poly lately. She learned to roll over this month onto her stomach and look around like a little turtle. My husband discovered her giggle, by putting her feet up to his scruff. It was the sweetest sound to our ears. 

Her beautiful handmade headband is from the fabulous Ilene's shop, Much Love Illy. Its Veronica's new favorite:)

and of course, these are the men in our life that make every day an adventure....

Veronica Rose: 4 months old

This month, you have learned to roll over, reach and hold on to your toys, and do back bends:) I think you might be a gymnast one day.

This girl never stops smiling! She loves to be talked to, and she will talk right back! She adores her big brother, who never seems to be out of kisses for her....

What would I ever do without you two??!

Veronica Rose: 3 months

Its those smiles that make the middle of the night feedings so worth it. 

She is starting to try to talk back to us with her sweet little voice now. She loves to have conversations and be where all the commotion is:) I wish I could bottle up some of this precious phase forever!

Oh, and who got her to smile like that? Her daddy of course;)

Veronica Rose: 2 months

I originally got the month by month baby photo idea from Nicole of MakingitLovely. I thought it was such a fantastic idea to document baby's growth this way. It will hold me accountable! :D

I already shared with you her Veronica's newborn photos. For her one month photo, I didn't have these month by month stickers yet (thanks Carrie!). When I saw them, they were to cute and easy to use to pass up!

Oh and guess what?! My little Canon Powershot Camera broke last week.  SO, we used the Royalty Program and traded it in for the Canon Rebel XS at a super discounted price! Excited would be an understatement. Felt like Christmas morning! I snapped this lovely pic of little miss Veronica Rose with my new toy:) 2 months has FLOWN by and I kiss her sweet cheeks hundreds of times a day to make sure I am soaking her up. She is such a wonderful baby. She is starting to smile every time we talk to her, and she even recognizes big brothers voice:) I count my blessings every day...

Veronica Rose: Newborn Photos

Some of you saw the sneak preview on facebook, and as promised, here are the rest of Veronica's newborn pictures:) Of course I couldn't help but accessorize her. I have made probably one to many headbands for her since she has arrived! I am so thankful to Andrea for capturing some of Veronica's precious hand movements and expressions. Her cheeks are delicious:) The last two photos are my very favorite because it captures the love and pride my son has for his little sister. It melts my heart.

I can't wait to see who these little ones become. I just love them to pieces. They bring my husband and I so much joy. We often talk about what a great gift and responsibility it is to have children and to raise them to be children of God. We are so grateful to have this as our most important mission in life:)
