Jewelry Storage and Accessory Organization Part 2

As I showed you in in the first accessory organization post, I store my big chunky necklaces in a dish, and scarves on a DIY hanger. The finer ones I hang on a Jewelry Tree Stand (you can find these at Bed Bath and Beyond for $10) to keep them from tangling. I love having other baubles in dishes, which makes for a fun display.

Storing your Jewelry and Packing it Pretty

As you know, I am crazy about organization ideas. These are two that were inspiring me this week....

I think I will work on packing a little more neatly for my upcoming NYC trip! :)
Do you have any travel plans for the summer?

P.S. I am guest posting today over at Michaela's.....I just love this girl! SO sweet.
And the theme- She Loves Me, She Loves Me not.....head over to see the things I am loving and the things that rub me the wrong way! :D

Organization Inspiration: Dresser and Jewelry Storage

I have always been a girl who loves pockets, drawers, and secret compartments:) Every trim and notion in my works studio has a spot in a jar or basket. I just love organization! Makes your life easier, right? However, I could use some help on my dresser top! A complete mess of jewelry, lotions, pictures, etc. So these photos were motivating me to get working on it. Can you tell I am in nesting mode? ;)
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

DIY: Pegboard Organization + Display

My husband and I are heading to the lumber yard to pick up some pegboard pieces. I am going to use them for displays at my next craft fair, but thinking this will go perfectly in the work room for now. As I was looking for inspiration I saw some really cool examples that use pegboard in different rooms of the house...laundry room, craft room, inspiration boards, etc. This isn't just for the garage anymore:) Here are a few fun examples...

Sorry for the blurry image, but his is one of my faves!

Share with me your ideas! If you have any shelving or container finds that would be good for this...please let me know! Will hopefully share the pictures of the finished product!

Thursday DIY: Happy Clothespins!

My refrigerator is a space I use for organization and inspiration. This is a super easy project that you can use many different ways. I call them "Happy Clothespins" because I used the bright and fun Happy Tape. You can also use colored masking tape found in craft stores.

What You Need:
Clothespins
Happy Tape or Colored Masking Tape
Magnet Strips (optional)

Its as easy as it looks-cover the clothespin from top to bottom in tape. Cut a sticky back magnet roll into small strips and attach to the back in two places. Stick these on your dryer or fridge! I also used clothespins to hang pictures on ribbon in my son's room. Have fun!
