After creating last week's swatch style post, I realized that this is how I assemble outfits. I look at pieces in terms of color, pattern, and texture. If you think of your closet in these terms, it makes it easier to mix and match! ....And a heads up my friends, this is my last post as a Brunette. Yep, I am dying my hair Auburn (or so the box says) today after 5 years of working up the guts to do it. Gabe even went in the store with me to buy it. Says something about my personality, eh? And its only a three week dye...
I am so excited for Mother's Day weekend. Its an honor to get to celebrate this Hallmark holiday;) I am just looking forward to spending time with my family. We will be heading to our local lake/beach.
A very special shout out to each of you mamas who love and love tirelessly for your families!
Happy Mother's Day to You! (Btw, I am sharing what motherhood means to me over here.)

I just dyed my own hair for the first time last week after years of having it done at the salon. It was getting too spendy and apart from choosing the right color, it didn't seem like it was that difficult. My SIL recommended www.esalon.com. They custom blend your color based on your preferences. You can even upload pictures to help the color stylists make the best blend. I was really impressed when I got call from them clarifying my color request. Overall, I was really impressed. The color was bang on and now, we'll just see how well it holds up over the next few weeks. My only beef is the mess that's involved (even with my hubby helping), but I guess that's why we pay salons the big bucks. Good luck and I can't wait to see your color!
ReplyDeleteOh I love the yellow and coral together! Great job Anna. And Happy almost Mother's Day!

ummmmm LOVE that necklace and your wrap around bracelet!!! Adorable!!
ReplyDeleteYou are one hot mama!! Can't wait to see you as an auburn!! The nice thing about 3 week dies is they are essentially like a color toner for your hair...so they bring out highlights and are close to your natural hair color. I like to do a medium golden blonde 3 week dye once in a while, it warms up my hair tone. Sometimes, I also use a paint brush to paint it in as just a highlighter - the effect is super natural! :)
ReplyDeleteWay to go Anna, and hubby (for moral support!)
Have an awesome weekend and special time with your Little Ones. Everyday is mother's day, isn't it?!
Especially when you have those around you that remind you of how precious the gift of motherhood truly is.
