Who cares what the groundhog says?
I am not waiting another 6 weeks to bust out the brights:)
Style Word: I am one that doesn't feel comfortable revealing my entire back to the general public, no matter how beautiful that backless dress may seem. But as I came across this dress that I couldn't resist, I was determined to find an alternative. A way to address a backless dress: Wear a tank or cami in the same hue as the dress, and it will blend a little more naturally. Of course, this won't work for every backless dress, but in this particular case, it did the trick!

The True Beauty Files:
A lookbook for the modern modeste.
"The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman is seen in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. True beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It's the caring that she lovingly gives, the passion that she shows & the beauty of a woman only grows with passing years."
~ Audrey Hepburn

This is a great dress, and you've worn it beautifully!

There was a lady at Walmart today that couldn't afford some hot dogs so she was giving them back to the cashier as I was standing in line.
ReplyDelete:*( I immediately thought of your Spread the Love post and of course had to buy them for her! Even though they were only $2, it meant the world to her and she started crying as I walked shedding a couple myself.
I can't believe how such a tiny little thing can be so rewarding!
Just had to share :)

ReplyDeleteSooo gorgeous! I love the tank under the dress - looks like it's supposed to be there! :) And I just wanted to say that I'm thinking about you and your family as you go through letting go of your grandfather. I know how that feels, I've lost both of my grandfathers, and it's tough. But what a testimony he is leaving behind! 72 years of marriage is incredible! I know you will be so glad to be with your family! Praying for you Anna!
ReplyDeleteHi Anna, OMG that dress is soooo pretty! LOVE THE COLOR!
