Dress: Old Navy, Necklaces: BMB, IHOD, Earrings: H&M, Belt: H&M, Flats: F21(similar), Tote Bag: Mimi Boutique
So I went through with it. I got the ombre highlights last weekend (thanks to groupon for an awesome deal to a snazzy salon), and my hair met dye for the first time ever:) I am so glad I did too. LOVE how natural it turned out, and how I won't have to keep up with it too much. I kind of wish she wouldn't have gone so easy on me though. I could have gone for a more drastic look. I tend to be too passive in the hair salon chair, and should have spoke up sooner. Funny story....the stylist suggested maybe purple highlights over these next time. Sorry hun- not happening!
Also I caved, and bought THE boots.
With good reason though:) My awesome friend Laura saw me post about them here, and pointed out that Famous Footwear was having a Buy one get one half off + 20% off sale. So she had this great idea to both get a pair for a super steal. I am pretty sure these will be worn every day of fall...so they are justified:)

i bought a similar belt from Jcrew :)

Love your outfit. The leopard print is a great addition! I am noticing that we both tend to have different styles we gravitate towards and I am definitely finding a ton of inspiration to expand my own fashion horizons.
ReplyDeleteLove your hair, too!
I am just like you. Saturn too passive at the salon and unfortunately end up leaving a lot like I came in. But I guess it's better than a horribly drastic result
ReplyDeleteI've been seriously looking at those old navy dresses too-do you think the sweater dresses are a hit or miss for the preggo?
ReplyDeleteAnd the boots are fab! I'm still hunting!
I've never dyed my hair either. Actually I take that back.. I once got highlights when "all the girls were doing it" .. i hated it and immediately had it dyed back.. that was over 10 years ago. I think I'm going to stay dye free for a while but the ombre looks fantastic on you!!
ReplyDeletelove the hair and love those boots! and totally considered yourself "liked" and more - crossing my fingers for you!
ReplyDeleteThe hair looks great and definitely very natural! Love the belt too dear!

I love the new ombre highlights--they are subtle, but very pretty! And I LOVE those boots! I told myself that the one thing I definitely MUST buy this fall is brown boots--the pair I have I've about worn out.
ReplyDeleteYour outfit is adorable and I LOVE your bag! Your hair also looks so fabulous and super healthy!

ReplyDeleteSo pretty!
Cute hair and AMAZING boots! Totally jeal ;)
ReplyDeleteLove the highlights, want the belt and love this series!! xo
ReplyDeleteAnna, i fancy this look so much! you know the true testament to your style is that the clothes don't wear you! that is a silky sensation and i adore the gunmetal grey color a lot. so pretty to show off your own new do too!!! i've been transitioning to some ombre low lights also and it takes time. kinda good she didn't go all out at 1st, lets you relax into it and over the next few weeks it'll settle even more so then you know what you're working with on the next round. i LOVE it!!!
ReplyDeleteyour new boots are freakin' awesome! such a good idea about going in on it together, brilliant stuff. xoox ♥
