I dream of being a sewing genius.

I came across two DIY's this week that made me wish will all my heart that I was a master seamstress....

Moroccan Pouf by BHG via Curbly

Floor pads via Hooraydesign

But alas! I am stuck with my sewing machine that gets stuck everytime I attempt to sew a stitch and my dreams shall remain dreams for now. :) Any DIY that has you wishing you could be a master seamstress?

P.S. I have a few ad spots coming available on IHOD, so if you would like the package info, please email me:)

  7. I'm not a sewing genius, but I am in the process of making my first quilt. Surprisingly it's not been as hard as I would have thought. It just takes patience sewing all the little seams!

  17. Thanks for your comment on my guest post over at Aubrey's blog :-)

I've sewed a Christmas tree skirt and a table runner - but only because a friend who's a great seamstress helped me :-) I'd love to be able to sew cushion covers and curtain, but I have 0 confidence when it comes to using a sewing machine!
